Dave Balzer is a Senior Director of Economics at CHS Inc., bringing 36 years of experience from the McPherson Kansas refinery, where they held various roles, including Director of Economics and Manager of Economics, Optimization & Lab. Previously, they served as an Optimization Specialist at the National Cooperative Refinery Association, where they engaged in greenhouse gas legislation lobbying and refinery modeling. Dave also had roles as a Chief Chemist and Senior Process Engineering Specialist during their career. They earned a BS in Chemistry from Bethel College between 1983 and 1988.
