Klara Scheepers is an experienced professional in multilateral negotiation, EU institutional law and politics, and international criminal law. They served as the Deputy Director and Head of Department for International Affairs and Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters at the Ministerie van Justitie en Veiligheid from 2018 to 2023. Currently, Scheepers holds roles as the Voorzitter Raad van Toezicht for Christelijk Gymnasium Sorghvliet and Acting Head of the Common Agricultural Policy at the Ministerie van Landbouw, Visserij, Voedselzekerheid en Natuur. They are also pursuing an advanced LL.M. in International Criminal Law at Leiden University and have previously worked with organizations such as the European Commission and the European Parliament.
