Derek Luersman is a Project Engineer at Choice One Engineering Corp., having advanced from a Design/Survey Co-op role within the same company, where responsibilities included designing storm profiles, updating record drawings, and developing engineering estimates for road projects. Prior experience includes a Surveyor position at the Ohio Department of Transportation, where Derek conducted topographic and boundary surveys and collaborated on Right-of-Way staking, as well as a Summer Laborer role at Putnam County Highway Department, assisting with road repairs and maintenance. Derek holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Ohio Northern University, complementing earlier education from Fort Jennings High School.
