Reggie Smith III, Ph.D., is an internationally recognized leader with over thirty years of experience in communications and technology, including twenty-seven years specifically in blended distance and online learning. Reggie served as the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of the United States Distance Learning Association from 2011 to 2021, overseeing the association’s operations and policies. Currently, Reggie holds the position of Manager of Conference Services at Children's National Hospital, where they manage extensive collaborative events and video teleconferencing. Additionally, Reggie has been a Board Trustee at Berkeley College since 2012, ensuring the institution meets its mission and goals. Reggie earned a Ph.D. in Education Training and Performance Improvement from Capella University in 2014.
