Courtney Waters is the Executive Director of Teach For America South Carolina, where they lead initiatives focused on education advocacy, equity, and community engagement. Previously, they held various positions within Teach For America, including Senior Managing Director and Managing Director of Education Advocacy and System Transformation. Courtney's career also includes experience as a Sales and Marketing Representative at ARD Logistics, where they contributed to significant revenue growth and corporate philanthropy efforts. In addition to their professional achievements, Courtney serves as an elected Trustee on the Board of Charleston County Schools, enhancing governance within the district. They hold a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Mississippi and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Rhodes College.
