Derek Penn is a board-level advisor and published author with extensive experience in the global financial services industry. They began their career at Morgan Stanley and have since held leadership positions at notable firms, including Merrill Lynch, Fidelity Investments, and BNY Mellon | Pershing, where they led a significant merger and scaled equity operations by 200%. Currently, Derek serves as an Independent Board Member for Charles Schwab's Mutual Fund and ETF Board of Trustees, and holds board roles at Provable and the Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, they are an advisory board member at Duke University, where they contribute to investment responsibility and racial equity initiatives.
