Zarrar S. is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in the regulated wealth management and fintech sectors. Currently serving as a Technology Leader at Cetera Financial Group since November 2023, Zarrar drives digital platform integrations and operational improvements by leading cross-functional teams in a cloud-native environment. Prior to this role, Zarrar was the Information Technology Manager at Avantax for over a decade, specializing in advisor digital platforms and back-office automation. Earlier experience includes roles at Wells Fargo, BMO, Burt & Associates, Verizon, and Nortel Networks, all of which contributed to expertise in technology strategy, workflow modernization, and enterprise application design. Zarrar holds an MBA in Finance and Management from Naveen Jindal School of Management, UT Dallas, and a Master’s in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Osmania University.
