Margaret Asaro is the Vice President for Park Maintenance & Infrastructure at Central Park Conservancy, where they lead teams responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and infrastructure of New York City's iconic Central Park. With a Master of Science focused on Sustainability in the Urban Environment from City University of New York City College, Margaret has extensive experience in city government and nonprofit organizations. Previously, they held roles with the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation, where they managed energy and sustainability programs, and at The Equity Project Charter School, where they oversaw facilities operations for multiple campuses. Their skills include team leadership, financial planning, construction management, and green building practices.
