Ahmed Sherif Hendi is the Head of Quality Assurance & Reporting in Internal Audit at the Central Bank of Egypt, where they have been since 2021. With a decade of experience in risk and controls across various international financial institutions, Ahmed has also held roles such as Supervisor of Operating Development at Qatar International Islamic Bank and Manager of Internal Audit at Ahli United Bank. Additionally, they served as a Regulatory Controls Officer at State Street and worked as an Associate in Internal Audit-Risk Compliance Services at KPMG-Advisory. Ahmed holds a degree from The American University in Cairo, earned between 2005 and 2010.
