Mark Giethoorn has extensive experience in the hospitality and leisure sector, primarily with Center Parcs since 1993. During the tenure at Center Parcs, Giethoorn has held various leadership positions, including Managing Director Center Parcs Netherlands, Deputy Managing Director, and Director of Operations for both the Netherlands and Northern Germany. Prior roles include General Manager at multiple Center Parcs locations and Horeca & Retail Manager at different facilities. Prior to Center Parcs, Giethoorn was the Horeca & Retail Manager for Creatief vakantieparken and served as Restaurant Manager at het Vennenbos. Early career experience includes an assistant role in the Development Department at Golden Tulip Hotels International. Giethoorn earned a BHA degree from Hotelschool The Hague between 1987 and 1991.
