Michael Larson serves as a Climate Policy Analyst at the Center for Climate Strategies since January 2024. Previously, Larson held the role of Senior Climate Mitigation, Adaptation, and Resilience Analyst at Solv LLC from August 2017 to July 2023, also contributing as an Energy Engineer. At Seventhwave, Larson managed energy efficiency projects and developed modeling techniques for various building types, resulting in significant energy savings. Earlier experiences include positions as an Air Quality Researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, leadership roles with AIESEC, and an Entrepreneurship Programs Assistant Coordinator with the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation. Larson holds a Master of Science in Energy Policy and Climate Change from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
