Ryan Buckley has extensive experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in rotating equipment and project management. Currently serving as a Project/Rotating Equipment Discipline Engineer at Cenovus Energy since June 2019, Ryan previously held various roles at BP from 2008 to 2019, including Maintenance & Reliability Engineer and Maintenance Supervisor, where responsibilities included providing mechanical support for the refinery's Utilities complex and Oil Movements Division. Additionally, Ryan contributed as a Project Engineer, managing small projects within the refinery. Early experience includes a role as a Reliability Engineer Co-Op at LyondellBasell, supporting project management initiatives that enhanced equipment reliability and efficiency. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, earned between 2005 and 2008.
