Luc YE has extensive experience in security research and assessment, currently serving as an Android Security Researcher at Cellebrite since April 2021. Previously, during a nearly nine-year tenure at Thales, Luc specialized as an Embedded Software Security Evaluator, conducting security assessments and embedded code analysis for various certification schemes, along with performing software and hardware security pentesting. Prior roles included a Testing Engineer position at Altran, focusing on app development and smartphone testing, and a R&D engagement at the Centre National d'Études Spatiales during a master's thesis. Luc began a career in electronics during a brief production internship at Thales Avionics. Educationally, Luc holds an engineer's degree (valedictorian) from École des Mines de Saint-Étienne, alongside a strong foundational background in mathematics and preparatory studies.
