Bala Muniandy is an accomplished IT leader with extensive experience in the telecommunications sector. Currently serving as the Head of IT Consolidation & Integration at CelcomDigi since March 2023, Bala Muniandy is responsible for strategizing and overseeing the integration of IT systems to optimize costs and achieve synergy savings. Previously, at Celcom Axiata Berhad from April 2012 to March 2023, key roles included Head of IT Solution Delivery & Business Planning, Head of Commercial Program Office, and Head of Business Project Delivery, among others, where significant contributions included streamlining budget processes and driving project delivery initiatives. Bala Muniandy’s career spans roles at notable companies such as Motricity, Openet Telecom, Unifiedcomms Group, PCCW, and Maxis Communication Limited, demonstrating a strong track record in project management, service delivery, and product development within the telecommunications industry. Bala Muniandy holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electronics System Design from Northumbria University.
