Quality Lead, Preparedness And Quality Laboratory

Kenneth Swanson, PhD, is a highly experienced professional in the field of analytical chemistry, currently serving as the Quality Lead for the Preparedness and Quality Laboratory within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Center for Environmental Health since September 2018. Previous roles include chemist positions in various laboratories focused on biochemical mass spectrometry and toxins and drugs of abuse, as well as serving as an ORISE Fellow. Kenneth Swanson's academic background includes a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and Physics from Berry College, with additional experience as a graduate research and teaching assistant during this time.
