Satoshi Konagai is currently the Investment Lead at Astellas Venture Management LLC, having joined the firm in 2020. Before this role, Satoshi worked in the Strategic department at Astellas Pharma Inc. from 2015, leading projects and evaluating opportunities in various therapeutic areas. Satoshi has extensive experience in Oncology research and developed corporate global R&D strategies at Astellas Pharma since 2004. They hold a Master's degree in Integrated Life Science from Kyoto University and an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
