Sonu Varghese, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as a Quantitative Researcher at CIC Plus, where they developed and refined financial models, conducted econometric analysis, and systematized models for trading. From 2011 to 2013, they co-founded Rubix Consultants, LLC, where they focused on new project development and technology/communication for the company. Sonu also worked as an Adjunct Faculty at City Colleges of Chicago from 2011 to 2016, teaching mathematics and statistics. From 2013 to 2019, they were the Director of Research at Convex Capital Management LLC. Sonu then moved on to the Carson Group, starting as a Senior Investment Analyst and eventually becoming the Director of Investment Platform and Vice President, Global Macro Strategist.

Sonu Varghese, Ph.D., completed their education at Purdue University, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, from 1996 to 2000. Sonu then pursued their Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University from 2000 to 2002. Finally, they received their Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, completing their studies from 2002 to 2006.
