Pedro Resendiz Chavez has a varied work experience, beginning with a Student Assistant role at Chabot College in 2014. Pedro then worked as a Tutor for Hayward Promise Neighborhoods in 2015 and a Peer Advisor & Tutor at Chabot College in 2016. In 2012, they began working at Whole Foods Market, where they held the roles of Production Team Member, Reciever, and Dishwasher. In 2020, they began working at Corteva Agriscience as a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op, where they analyzed torque specification for ASME B16. 5 Class 150-300 flanges per ASME PCC-1 and performed ASME code calculations on 3 pressure vessels using COMPRESS/INSPECT. Pedro also created construction sequences for contractors using Navisworks -3D model design and constructed an excel tool to determine whether a project is feasible for modular construction. Currently, they are working at Carlsmed, Inc. as a Production Engineer and Engineering Intern.

Pedro Resendiz Chavez attended Chabot College from 2012 to 2018, where they studied Engineering. Pedro then went on to attend California State University-Sacramento, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a Computer Science minor in 2021. In addition, Pedro has obtained several certifications, including Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from the Aveta Business Institute in 2023, Parametric Part Modeling in Onshape and The Complete Guide to PTC Onshape (CAD) from Udemy in 2023, Procore Certified: Engineer and Procore Certified: Student from Procore Technologies in 2020, Synchro Essential Training from LinkedIn Learning in 2020, and Mechanical Design Associate from Dassault Systèmes in 2019.
