Paul de Weerd is an accomplished logistics professional with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as the Regional Lead Warehouse & Terminals EMEA at Cargill since February 2015, Paul oversees logistics storage solutions for 16 business units across the EMEA region and leads a team of 10. Previously, Paul established and led the Real Estate Team for Cargill in EMEA, successfully managing all real estate transactions in the region. Prior to Cargill, Paul held the position of Senior Manager for Europe Logistics at LG Electronics, where responsibilities included team leadership and logistics innovation across numerous warehouse and distribution operations. Paul holds multiple degrees in Business Engineering and Industrial Engineering from KU Leuven and the University of Groningen.
