Janwillem Van Den Berg is an experienced professional in the food industry with a strong focus on regulatory compliance and quality assurance. Currently serving as the Regulatory Lead for Cargill Texturizing Systems since November 2020, Van Den Berg oversees the regulatory compliance for various texturizing ingredients in the EMEA region. Prior roles at Cargill included leadership positions in food safety, quality, and technical services from June 2016 to November 2020. Van Den Berg also holds the position of President at Biopolymer International, a trade association since December 2022. Earlier career experience includes engineering roles at Unilever from October 1985 to May 1994. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree from De Montfort University and a Bachelor’s degree from HAS Green Academy.
