Sumit Kumar is a seasoned software architect and technical lead with over 20 years of experience in architecting, developing, and delivering large-scale enterprise applications in the healthcare, finance, and insurance domains. Previously serving as a lead technical architect at Perficient, they designed and developed applications for Blue Cross Blue Shield, including scalable web solutions and EDI components. Currently, at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, Sumit leads the development of cloud-native solutions using modern technologies, while also mentoring engineers and optimizing system performance. Sumit is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Computational Science at the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.
