Jimmy Sounes is an experienced financial professional with a strong background in forensic accounting and card operations. Since November 2017, Jimmy has served as the Head of Card and Head of Card Operations at Capitec Bank, overseeing various aspects such as Card Procurement, Quality Management, Vendor and Supplier Management, Client Card Experience, and Strategic Card Risk. Prior to this role, Jimmy held the position of Head of Forensic Services and Senior Forensic Auditor at Capitec Bank from January 2012 to March 2017. Jimmy's career began at KPMG, where as Forensic Manager, critical investigations and audits were conducted from November 2005 to December 2011. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Forensic Accounting, an Honors Degree in Financial Accounting, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, all obtained from North-West University, along with a secondary education from Duineveld High School.
