Atharv Bhat is currently a Principal Associate Data Scientist at Capital One, where they build embedding models to verify customer identity and detect fraud. Previously, Atharv served as a Data Science Intern and a Senior Associate Data Scientist at the company, gaining valuable experience in understanding customer product journeys. They also worked as a Research Assistant at New York University, focusing on machine learning model interpretability methods, and taught Python and data science concepts as a Course Assistant at the NYU Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences.
