Ed Sarmiento is a seasoned finance professional with over three decades of experience in institutional sales and relationship management. Currently serving as Managing Director at Cantor Fitzgerald since June 2017, Ed has been instrumental in significantly increasing sales production by focusing on public entities and corporations. Prior to this role, Ed excelled as Vice President of Fixed Income Sales at Wells Fargo, successfully transitioning accounts and consistently exceeding sales targets. Ed's extensive career also includes a lengthy tenure at Merrill Lynch as Senior Vice President, where strategic market analysis and investment recommendations were key in driving sales for institutional accounts with substantial assets under management. Ed holds a BSM in Finance from Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business.
