Melody Ma, CPA, TEP, is a seasoned tax professional currently serving as Vice President of Client Tax Reporting at Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. Since 2021, they have held the position of Associate Director for Tax & Treasury at MUFG, focusing on global tax compliance and transfer pricing. Their previous experience includes roles as a Tax Specialist at Butterfield Group and Manager of Tax Operations at RBC, among others. Melody earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Saint Mary's University and has also completed advanced studies in taxation and trust and estate management. Additionally, they are a member of the Board of Trustees for Sipekne'katik First Nation.
