Sisi Wei is currently the Chief Impact Officer at both CalMatters and The Markup. Previously, Sisi has held various roles, including Director of Programs and Co-Executive Director at OpenNews, and News Applications Developer, Editor, and Assistant Managing Editor at ProPublica. Sisi also co-founded Code with Me and served as an Interactive Editor for North by Northwestern, along with internships at notable organizations such as the Associated Press and The Washington Post. Sisi is pursuing a B.S. at Northwestern University and has attended both Mounds View Senior High School and Beijing Language and Culture University.
