Elizabeth Heise is currently the Associate Vice President for Faculty Affairs at California State University, Los Angeles. They previously served as Assistant Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs and Associate Professor in Earth and Environmental Science at the University of Texas at Arlington, and spent time at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Elizabeth has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in geology and environmental sciences, while conducting significant research on coastal and riparian processes. They hold a Ph.D. in geology from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Geology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
