Charlie McVea is the Senior Vice President and Executive Director of Southeast Construction at Cadence Insurance, a role they began in 2023. Previously, Charlie served as Chief Legal Officer and then Chief Operating Officer for an international construction company specializing in industrial and port construction. They practiced law for eight years, primarily in construction law, before transitioning into the insurance field at BXS Insurance. Charlie holds a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy from the University of Mississippi and a Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center.
