Benoit Ghezzi is a seasoned compliance professional with over 12 years of international experience in traditional finance and cryptocurrency. They currently serve as the Head of Compliance and MLRO in the UAE for Bybit, where they lead the licensing application process with Dubai's VARA and develop comprehensive AML/CFT compliance frameworks. Previously, they held significant roles at FTX and HSBC, managing reputational risk and compliance efforts across the MENA region. Benoit holds a Master’s degree in Professional Business Studies from Auckland University of Technology and various professional certifications, including the Certified Financial Crime Specialist (CFCS).
