Roaa Babiker serves as Associate Director - Building Performance Lead at Buro Happold since September 2021, following a recent relocation from the London office to the Riyadh office for a secondment focused on developing sustainability and building performance services in the Middle East. Prior experience includes a progressive career at Sweco from October 2014 to September 2021, where roles ranged from Associate to Principal Sustainability Engineer. Earlier positions included Project Engineer at Lumara sd and various engineering and administrative roles in companies such as University of Khartoum and Karaf Cooling. Roaa holds an MSc in Building Services Engineering with Sustainable Energy from Brunel University and a BSc (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Khartoum, along with an upcoming online course on Sustainable Finance from the University of Cambridge.
