Luis Marin, CPD, has extensive experience in engineering, particularly in plumbing and fire protection systems. From October 2013 to May 2014, Luis served as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Hayward Research Lab at the University of Massachusetts Polymer Science and Engineering, focusing on snap buckling on curved surfaces and developing protocols for sample preparation. Luis earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, studying from September 2011 to May 2015. Following academic pursuits, Luis has held engineering positions at BR+A Consulting Engineers as an Associate Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer and previously as a Plumbing Intern, and currently serves as a Senior Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer at Buro Happold since August 2023.
