Die Brother International GmbH, die deutsche Vertriebsgesellschaft von Brother, ist eine 100-prozentige Tochtergesellschaft der Brother Holding Europe Ltd. in Manchester, Großbritannien und wurde 1962 in Hamburg gegründet. Seit 1974 ist das Unternehmen in Bad Vilbel ansässig. Von dort aus wird seit November 2009 zusätzlich noch die Zweigniederlassung in Österreich betreut. Heute erwirtschaftet die Brother International GmbH mit mehr als 200 Mitarbeitern einen Gesamtumsatz von rund 325 Millionen Euro.
