Srini Seetharaman is a distinguished engineer currently leading the architecture for the IAM platform of VMware Cloud Foundation. Prior to this role, they served as a senior staff engineer at VMware, focusing on developer-centric cloud services. Srini has extensive experience in software-defined networking, having worked as a technical lead at Deutsche Telekom Labs and as a principal platform architect at Infinera. They also contributed as a founder and thought leader for SDN Hub, promoting open-source SDN platforms, and participated in nationwide SDN deployments while working at Stanford University's Clean Slate Lab. Srini holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, along with a master's degree from The Ohio State University and a bachelor's degree from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science.
