Kayla Felix is a fourth-year undergraduate honors student in Biomedical Engineering, currently focused on advancing the biomaterial field and research industry. Kayla has held multiple roles at Bristol Myers Squibb as a Cell Therapy Manufacturing Associate and currently serves as a Specialist, Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Project Lead. Previously, Kayla participated in a virtual biomedical internship at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where they contributed to designing a non-invasive diabetes testing device for infants. Additionally, Kayla worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Rao Lab, assisting in the development of advanced imaging technology. Before their engineering pursuits, Kayla gained experience as a Camp Counselor at Taunton Parks and Recreation.
