Merle Regino-Ahearn is an experienced professional in analytical development and sciences with a strong background in regulatory compliance and vendor oversight. Currently serving as Associate Director of Analytical Development at BridgeBio since July 2023, Merle previously held the position of Associate Director for Analytical Sciences at Akebia Therapeutics, where responsibilities included managing global vendor oversight for CMC activities and addressing regulatory queries. Merle's earlier roles include Staff Scientist at SABIC, where expertise in chromatography contributed to significant programs across thermoplastic and thermoset research, and Senior Research Scientist II at AMRI, overseeing stability studies and analytical method development. Prior to these, Merle was a Group Leader at Procter & Gamble, providing analytical support for various product development initiatives. Merle holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of the Philippines.
