Kira Botha is an experienced educator with a strong focus on STEM instruction and special education. Currently serving as an Instructor at Bricks 4 Kidz since October 2016, Kira leads workshops for K-8 students centered around motorized LEGO construction. Previous roles include Math Instructor for grades 6-8 at The Intergenerational School, where Kira implemented a Common Core curriculum and tracked student progress using various assessment tools. Additionally, Kira has extensive experience in special education, having taught grades 9-11 at Kensington International Business, Finance, and Entrepreneurship High School, and previously at The Young Men’s Leadership Academy. Kira's background also includes leadership as a Senior Camp Director at ESF Dream Camp Foundation and roles with AmeriCorps NCCC, combining teaching expertise with community service. Kira holds an M.Ed. in Secondary Education from Chestnut Hill College and a BA in International Relations and French from Bucknell University.
