Steve Shaw is a senior communications professional with over 25 years of experience specializing in both external and internal communication campaigns. Currently, Steve serves as the VP of Communications & External Affairs for bp’s Production & Operations sector, advising the executive team and leading a diverse international team. Previous roles at bp include Head of Communications for both Upstream and Technology, Safety & Risk, where Steve orchestrated high-profile campaigns and employee engagement initiatives. Steve also has consultancy experience with Towers Watson and PricewaterhouseCoopers, along with a background as a trainee solicitor. Education includes a Master of Arts in Law from the University of Cambridge and a Postgraduate Diploma in Internal Communications with Distinction from Kingston University.
