Simon Hicks is currently the VP HSE&C at bp, where they are accountable for providing health, safety, and environmental support to global wells, projects, and subsurface teams. Previously, Simon held roles such as Well Operations Manager and Senior Manager for DROPS and Red Zone Management, focusing on risk management in drilling operations. With extensive experience in subsea, jack-up, and platform drilling, Simon has contributed to deepwater explorational well planning and complex well design throughout their career. Simon holds an MSci in Physics from Imperial College London and an MRes in Marine Geology and Geophysics from the University of Southampton.
