Navnit Patel is a Chartered Engineer with over thirty years of experience in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and nuclear industries. Navnit currently serves as a Senior Control and Instrumentation Engineer at bp, specializing in the safety and control systems for offshore assets. Previously, Navnit held senior roles at Abu Dhabi Gas Industries, Parsons Brinckerhoff, and Sirte Oil Company, leading projects in conceptual engineering, system upgrades, and plant maintenance. Navnit possesses extensive knowledge of DCS, ICSS, PLC, and SCADA technologies and is skilled in managing multidisciplinary teams across international projects. Navnit is pursuing a BSc (Hons) in Instrumentation & Control Engineering at the University of Teesside.
