Ming Shen is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the oil and petrochemical industries, particularly with BP. From July 2013 to June 2023, Ming served as General Manager and Board Director of BP PetroChina Petroleum Co., Ltd, overseeing 450 retail sites in Guangdong and achieving significant financial targets. Previously, as President of BP LPG China, Ming managed local companies and a joint venture, implementing a successful exit strategy for LPG operations. Additional roles at BP included Business Manager of the SECCO joint venture and Sales Director for PTA in China, with earlier experience as Sales & Marketing Manager for BP Acetyls China and MI Analyst for Asia Petrochemical SPU. Ming holds an EMBA from Shanghai Jiaotong - Rotman Toronto University, a B.S. in Chemistry from Nanjing University of Chemistry, and an M.A. in Economics from Nanjing University of International Business.
