Florian Marcard is currently serving as Vice President Engineering and Head of R&D Center Lund at Bosch Nordic since June 2020. Prior to this role, Florian was on parental leave for three months in 2020 and held the position of Director of Engineering for Automotive Steering - Central and Eastern Europe at Bosch Magyarország from April 2012 to February 2020, overseeing system, software, hardware, and mechanical engineering for automotive steering systems. Early in Florian's career, roles included Section Manager Engineering and Leader Embedded SW-Development, focusing on software development in AUTOSAR, as well as a Software Engineer position at Bosch. Florian's foundational experience includes working as a Project Manager in Quality Management at Robert Bosch GmbH from July 2006 to September 2011. Florian holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Reutlingen University and is currently furthering education at ESMT Berlin. Additionally, Florian studied IT, Computer Science, and Informatics at Kettering University.
