Karine Halimi-Guez currently serves as Senior Vice President and Group Head of Tax at Booking Holdings since March 2025, following a tenure as Vice President and Head of Tax at Booking.com from February 2022 to March 2025. Prior to this, Karine held various significant positions at FedEx from January 1999 to February 2022, including Managing Director of Tax and Managing Director of EMEIA Tax, where responsibilities included leading tax operations across Europe, India, the Middle East, and Africa, and overseeing a team of over 10 multicultural professionals. Karine was also the Global Tax Integration Lead for the TNT acquisition project, a notable $5 billion transaction. Earlier career experience includes roles at AkzoNobel as a Tax Specialist from September 1995 to December 1998. Academically, Karine holds a Master's degree in Business & Finance from emlyon business school and has furthered education with a Master in Finance and Accounting, achieving chartered accountancy qualifications.
