Becca Chappell, PhD, is a scientist and medical writer dedicated to communicating scientific knowledge in an accessible manner. They completed their PhD in Cell and Molecular Pathology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where their dissertation focused on the role of autophagy in intervertebral disc cells.
