Steve Chisholm

Vice President, Structures Senior Chief Engineer

Steve Chisholm is the Vice President and Chief Engineer for Mechanical and Structural Engineering at Boeing, where they provide technical oversight for safety, quality, and integrity. In their previous role as the Vice President and Senior Chief of Structures Engineering for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, they set the technical direction for structural integrity across commercial offerings. Chisholm joined Boeing in 1986 as a structural stress analyst and has engaged in numerous airplane accident investigations, showcasing a strong commitment to safety. In addition to their work at Boeing, they are involved with the University of Washington College of Engineering Visiting Committee and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, promoting allyship and education for underrepresented groups in engineering. Chisholm holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington and an MBA from Seattle University.
