Career highlights include serving as Senior Director and Principal Engineer at Microsoft, where focus was on aligning product road maps with technological advancements. Prior roles include Team Leader at Sherwin Williams Automotive Finishes, where cost-saving initiatives were developed, and Sr. Coatings Engineer at Apple, Inc., focusing on performance and paint specifications for products. John Payne retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the US Army and holds multiple degrees, including a Master’s in Polymer Science & Engineering from The University of Southern Mississippi and an EMBA in International Business from Benedictine College. Currently, John Payne works as a Materials & Process Manager at Boeing, leading a team dedicated to structural design and certification for military aircraft.
