Art McAlister has extensive experience in construction and facilities management, currently serving as Construction Manager I at BMW Manufacturing Co., LLC since May 1995. In this role, Art leads a fast-track, greenfield construction project for BMW's EV energy module assembly plant and has successfully hired a cross-functional team of project managers. Previously, as Facilities Manager I at Plant Spartanburg, Art directed a team of 205 associates on continuous improvement initiatives and oversaw multi-million dollar capital projects. Art also held positions as Section Manager for Assembly Process Maintenance and Planning Specialist/Production Coordinator, contributing significantly to production uptime and process quality. Prior to BMW, Art worked as a Design Engineer at Caterpillar Inc., specializing in power train and final drive design utilizing finite element analysis. Art holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Clemson University.
