Eric Anderson is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in technology leadership, particularly in SaaS Development, Operations, and Cyber Security. Currently serving as Vice President of R&D and Innovation at BMC Software since December 2016, Eric is responsible for guiding the technical vision and strategy for cloud and automation platforms. Prior to this role, Eric spent 18 years at IBM, culminating as Deputy CTO and Chief Architect, where contributions included leading the development of a SaaS-based IT Automation suite for 2,500 customers. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Support Services at InCircuit Development Corporation, overseeing multiple departments and strategic objectives. Eric holds a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence from The University of Texas at Austin, a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the University of Houston, and an Associate of Science in Computer Programming from Austin Community College.
