John Morrison is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the insurance asset management sector. They served as Vice President at PIMCO from 2006 to 2012, before advancing to Managing Director and Co-Head of Insurance Company Asset Management at KKR & Co. Inc. from 2012 to 2021. Following that, John held the position of Managing Director and Head of Grosvenor Insurance Solutions at GCM Grosvenor until 2024. Currently, they are the Managing Director and Global Head of Insurance Client Partnerships at Blue Owl Capital. John earned a BA in Economics from Georgetown University and an MBA in Finance & Accounting from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
