Randy Ruiz serves as the Director at Blue Origin since March 2022, where responsibilities include leading the Facilities and Construction department to support advanced aerospace operations and developing long-term strategic facility plans. Prior to Blue Origin, Randy held various leadership roles at Amazon, notably becoming the Head of Facilities Management and Reliability Engineering, overseeing the launch and maintenance of Amazon Fresh Grocery Stores and Amazon Books, and managing the reliability program for powered industrial trucks across North America. Randy also has significant experience in the retail sector, with positions at Sam's Club and Walmart, enhancing logistics and maintenance efficiencies. Additionally, Randy served as an officer in the U.S. Army Ordnance Corps, managing personnel and assets to maintain combat readiness. Educational qualifications include an MBA from John Brown University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University.
