Steven Laura is a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer on the Red Team at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas, where they currently apply their expertise. Previously, they served as a Penetration Tester at Xerox and a Senior Security Consultant at Rapid7. Steven has also held positions as an IA Engineer at TASC, Inc., and a SOC Engineer at Spexus, contributing to various cybersecurity initiatives. They instruct courses in cybersecurity and programming at Cochise College and are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems at Bellevue University. Steven holds a Master's degree in Information Technology with a specialization in Information Security and Assurance from Kaplan University.
